Measuring roman blinds

A roman blind hangs inside the recess or in front of it on the wall. When raised, the fabric forms a folded stack at the top — keep that in mind.

The folded stack

When raised, the fabric folds into a stack of about 15–25 cm at the top (depending on drop and fabric). Inside the recess that stack covers part of the glass; for a fully clear window choose outside the recess.
